Terms of Service (ToS) – Syncara Host

Effective Date: 25 August 2025

By purchasing, registering, or using any services from Syncara Host (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“customer,” “client,” or “user”) agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a binding contract between Syncara Host and the customer. Failure to comply with these terms may result in suspension, termination, or legal enforcement under the applicable laws of the Republic of Indonesia.


1. Definitions

To avoid ambiguity, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned below:

  1. “Services”: All hosting-related offerings provided by Syncara Host, including but not limited to Minecraft servers, game servers, web hosting, cloud hosting, virtual private servers (VPS), dedicated servers, DNS management, domain registration, and any associated support services.
  2. “Account”: The registered customer profile created in our billing portal, identified by login credentials, through which customers purchase, manage, and renew services.
  3. “Server”: Any physical or virtual machine, container, or computing instance provisioned to the customer by Syncara Host.
  4. “Invoice”: A formal billing statement issued to the customer, specifying the amount owed, the service description, and the payment deadline.
  5. “Force Majeure”: Events or circumstances beyond Syncara Host’s reasonable control, including natural disasters, power grid failures, national emergencies, pandemics, terrorist attacks, wars, governmental restrictions, labor disputes, upstream provider outages, or global internet backbone disruptions.
  6. “Uptime”: The measurement of service availability expressed as a percentage of time the service is accessible in a given calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance, customer-caused downtime, and force majeure events.
  7. “Scheduled Maintenance”: Planned service interruptions necessary for upgrades, security patches, or hardware changes, notified to customers at least 48 hours in advance whenever possible.

2. General Conditions

  1. Services must be used strictly in compliance with Indonesian law and all applicable international regulations. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal frameworks relevant to their activities.
  2. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that all provided information, including billing and contact details, is accurate, complete, and current. You agree to update this information promptly if it changes.
  3. Syncara Host reserves the right to:
    • Modify, update, or discontinue services at its discretion.
    • Restrict or limit resources in cases of abuse or excessive consumption that negatively impacts other users.
    • Deny service to any individual, entity, or country subject to sanctions or trade restrictions imposed by the Republic of Indonesia or international authorities.
  4. Customers acknowledge that internet-based hosting is subject to inherent risks such as latency, routing failures, and upstream provider outages. Syncara Host will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain stability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access under all conditions.
  5. Customers must be at least 16 years of age or have explicit parental/guardian consent to use our services.

3. Billing & Payment

  1. Invoice Generation:

    • Invoices are automatically generated 7 calendar days before the due date.
    • Customers will receive notifications via email or billing portal regarding upcoming charges.
  2. Payment Deadlines & Consequences:

    • Payments must be completed on or before the due date.
    • 2 days overdue → Service suspension: the server will be inaccessible but data will remain stored.
    • 7 days overdue → Service termination: all related data will be deleted permanently, and the invoice will be canceled.
  3. Currency & Conversion:

    • All invoices are issued in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated.
    • For customers outside Indonesia, payments may be processed in alternate currencies. Exchange rate fluctuations and international transaction fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  4. Payment Methods:

    • Syncara Host accepts multiple payment methods (bank transfer, credit card, e-wallet, etc.).
    • Accepted methods will be listed on the official website and may vary depending on jurisdiction.
  5. Late Payments:

    • Syncara Host is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment processors, or third-party systems.
    • Customers must ensure that payments are successfully received by Syncara Host before the deadline.

4. Affiliate Program

  1. Eligibility & Enrollment:

    • The Affiliate Program is open to registered Syncara Host customers who hold an active account in good standing.
    • Participation requires enrollment through the official billing or affiliate portal. Syncara Host reserves the right to approve or reject any application at its sole discretion.
  2. Referral Rewards:

    • Affiliates are entitled to a 5% reward for every successful purchase made by a referred customer.
    • Rewards are credited in the form of Syncara Credits, which may only be used for purchasing Syncara Host products and services.
    • Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be converted to cash or withdrawn to external payment methods.
  3. Payout & Credit Usage:

    • Syncara Credits will automatically be applied to the affiliate’s account balance once the referred purchase is verified and the invoice is fully paid.
    • Credits may be used to pay for hosting services, domain renewals, or other eligible Syncara Host offerings as listed on the official website.
    • Expiration dates may apply to unused credits, as communicated in the affiliate portal.
  4. Restrictions & Prohibited Conduct:

    • Affiliates may not use fraudulent methods, misleading claims, spam, coupon abuse, or unauthorized advertising to generate referrals.
    • Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, and referrals within the same household or organization are strictly prohibited.
    • Syncara Host reserves the right to withhold or cancel rewards if fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected.
  5. Program Modifications & Termination:

    • Syncara Host may modify, suspend, or terminate the Affiliate Program at any time, with or without prior notice.
    • In the event of program termination, all outstanding valid credits will remain usable for a period of 30 calendar days, after which unused credits may expire.
  6. No Employment Relationship:

    • Participation in the Affiliate Program does not create any partnership, agency, joint venture, or employment relationship between the affiliate and Syncara Host.
    • Affiliates act solely as independent promoters of Syncara Host services.
  7. Limitation of Liability for Affiliates:

    • Syncara Host is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses suffered by affiliates, including but not limited to loss of potential earnings, reputational damage, or missed opportunities.
    • The total liability of Syncara Host in relation to the Affiliate Program is limited to the total amount of valid credits earned by the affiliate in the preceding 60 calendar days.

By enrolling in the Affiliate Program, affiliates agree to these terms in addition to the general Terms of Service.


5. Refund Policy

  1. Eligibility Period: Refund requests must be filed within 3 calendar days of the initial payment. Requests outside this period will be automatically denied.
  2. Valid Reasons for Refund:
    • Failure of the service to operate as described on Syncara Host’s website.
    • Critical technical issues proven to be the fault of Syncara Host and unresolved within a reasonable timeframe.
  3. Non-Refundable Cases:
    • Change of mind or dissatisfaction without technical fault.
    • Incompatibility with customer-installed mods, plugins, or third-party software.
    • Downtime caused by customer misconfiguration, security breaches due to negligence, or misuse of the service.
    • Interruptions caused by force majeure events.
  4. Refund Process:
    • Requests must be submitted via the official support system with a clear explanation.
    • Syncara Host may request supporting evidence before approval.
    • Refunds, if granted, will be processed only to the original payment method used for the purchase.
  5. Processing Time: Refunds may take up to 14 business days to be reflected, depending on the payment processor.

6. Suspension & Termination

  1. Services may be suspended or terminated for:
    • Non-payment or overdue invoices (see Section 3).
    • Violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (see Section 7).
    • Providing fraudulent information during registration.
    • Abusive conduct toward Syncara Host employees, contractors, or other customers.
  2. Suspension Procedure:
    • Customers will be notified via email when services are suspended.
    • Suspended services remain inaccessible until overdue balances are paid.
  3. Termination Procedure:
    • Terminated accounts result in immediate and irreversible data deletion.
    • Customers whose accounts are terminated for policy violations may be permanently banned from future service use.

7. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Customers must not use Syncara Host services for any unlawful, abusive, or disruptive activity, including but not limited to:

  • Hosting illegal or infringing content, including copyrighted material, pirated software, or prohibited media.
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or any malicious software.
  • Engaging in cyberattacks such as denial-of-service (DoS), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS), brute force attempts, or intrusion testing without explicit written consent.
  • Running cryptocurrency miners, proxy networks, VPN reselling, or any process that consumes excessive system resources.
  • Harassing, threatening, or stalking individuals, organizations, or communities.
  • Using the service to promote hate speech, extremism, or discrimination.

Violations of this policy will result in immediate service termination without refund. Syncara Host reserves the right to cooperate with Indonesian authorities to report unlawful activities.


8. Customer Responsibilities

  1. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their Syncara Host account credentials. Sharing or exposing credentials to unauthorized parties may result in suspension or termination.
  2. Customers must maintain backups of all hosted data. While Syncara Host may implement backup systems, these are not guaranteed to be complete or accessible to customers.
  3. Customers must ensure that their hosted applications, plugins, and modifications are properly maintained, updated, and secured.
  4. Customers remain responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including intellectual property laws, data privacy regulations, and cybercrime legislation in Indonesia and abroad.

9. Data Protection, Uptime & Force Majeure

  1. Security Measures: Syncara Host employs industry-standard protections, including SSL/TLS encryption, DDoS mitigation, firewalls, and restricted access protocols.
  2. Uptime Guarantee: Syncara Host targets a 99.99% uptime guarantee, measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance, customer misconfiguration, and force majeure.
  3. Scheduled Maintenance: Whenever possible, customers will be notified at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled downtime. Emergency maintenance may be performed without prior notice if critical to protect infrastructure.
  4. Force Majeure: Syncara Host shall not be liable for failures caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to:
    • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions).
    • Wars, terrorism, civil unrest, or pandemics.
    • National power grid failures or global internet backbone disruptions.
    • Government-imposed restrictions or legal prohibitions.
      During such events, the uptime guarantee does not apply, and no credits or refunds will be issued.
  5. Shared Responsibility: Customers acknowledge that security and uptime also depend on their actions, such as maintaining secure passwords, updating software, and avoiding unsafe configurations.

10. Limitation of Liability

  1. The maximum liability of Syncara Host, whether arising under contract, negligence, or any other legal theory, is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the affected service in the preceding 30 calendar days.
  2. Syncara Host shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
    • Loss of business opportunities or profits.
    • Loss of reputation or goodwill.
    • Business interruptions or data corruption.
  3. Customers acknowledge that hosting services inherently involve risk and must implement their own redundancy and disaster recovery strategies.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
  2. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jakarta, Indonesia, unless otherwise required by Indonesian law.
  3. Customers agree that all legal processes, notices, or claims may be conducted in Bahasa Indonesia or English, at the discretion of the court.

12. Changes to the Terms

  1. Syncara Host may revise, amend, or update these Terms of Service at any time.
  2. Updated versions will be published on the Syncara Host official website with the revised Last Updated date clearly indicated.
  3. Continued use of the services after such updates constitutes full acceptance of the revised terms. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms of Service periodically.
